Car Trouble

Well........

Today we got up bright an early at 5:30 to travel to Asckins to spend the day with Drey. The driver arrived and we piled in his relatively new car. As we head about 30 minutes out of the city, his car starts to schimmie and shake. We stopped at several stations and all were closed. By the time we got to an open station it was already 8:30 so we opted for him to take us back to the apartment and attempt our visit on another day. We are all a little disappointed but we would rather be safe.

I guess we will brave the supermarket and flea markert after while. That is anti-climatic compared to spending the day with our little guy.

Hopefully, we will just get to go three times next week. We are just being flexible.

  1. Sorry to hear of the car trouble but you were smart to go back and try again later. The last thing you want to do is be stranded in an even stranger place than normal, in Russia. Being flexible seems to be the way you must be on adoption adventures! I'm glad you have each other! (Plus ice cream isn't a bad thing either! And steak! Addie, you were bright eyed weren't you?!) Can't wait to hear the next update! Love you lots. Donna

  4. Sorry to hear about the car trouble. I thought Todd was a whiz at everything. He should have taken out his trusty screw driver and gave the care a tune up (just what did he learn at coroner school anyway). Just teasing!!!! I know you were disappointed in not visiting Drey. I wonder what he will think of the doggies and their enthusiasm and singing while someone plays the piano. He is certainly going to experience a wonderful home and family.
