First Day of our Waiting

Since we have already watched all of the DVD's we brought, we decided we needed to start planning some fun activities. Today, we called the other couple from St. Louis. We commandeered our first taxi cab and had the address to their hotel on a piece of paper written in Russian. Successfully arriving downtown, we found a small cafe and ordered milkshakes and cappuccinos. In the lobby of the hotel, we meet three other couples who were a week ahead of us. We then walked to a very nice restaraunt which had menu's in English. To Addie's delight, they had steak. We all completely stuffed our little tummies so we decided to take a walk. A couple of blocks from the hotel we found a giant children's store. It wasn't open so we have to plan another trip back. Just down from the children's store was a Baskin Robbins. The girls both smiled from ear to ear with the wonderful taste of home. Once returning to the hotel, we shared a relaxing conversation with our new friends. We then caught our second cab and headed to the apartment. We really had a good day!!!
