Our new friends who are from St. Louis need your prayers. When we went to dinner with them Tuesday, she became ill. She continued to feel poorly and her condition worsened until they had no choice but to take her to the hospital. After a thorough medical exam, they determined her appendix had ruptured. She required immediate surgery. In Russia, they require a person having that surgery to be hospitalized for 8 days. They were suppose to travel home on Wednesday morning. They are a wonderful couple and they really need everyone to pray this all works out and she heals quickly. Andy will go ahead and pick up their little boy on Monday.
We are doing well. We made it to the mall and Drey now has shoes to wear home.

We will pray for your new friend and trust that she will be well enough to travel as planned. We are thankful that she was able to get the medical help that she needed in Russia.
ReplyDeleteI have great sympathy for your friend. Of course, Todd knows what that feels like and the stress of less than favorable conditions. Still, modern medicine has many nifty tricks for dealing with these things.
