Today is the day!
We will be leaving the apartment at 8:30 this morning to go downtown Krasnoyarsk to pick up Andrey's adoption decree and other paperwork. We will then travel to Aschkin's after stopping off to buy some gifts for the children at the Baby Home. The other couples that we have spoken to say that we will spend very little time at the orphanage. We will hand them his clothes, they will dress him, and hand him to us. I think we are all anxious. Yesterday, we spent the day just talking and relaxing. The girls have been awesome the whole trip. They are really growing up. Please continue to pray for all of us. I can't imagine how much all five lives are about to change.

So very excited! We pray for you EVERY night but especially tonight... your on your way to go get him as we prayed for you. I can't wait to hear all your adventures when you return! I finally realized that I won't be home the week you get back from Russia:( I was so excited about possibly meeting you in the airport... then it hit me that that is the week of BigStuf! What a ding bat! It's going to kill me to have to wait to see him later than everybody else! Believe me, I will be calling you on the phone to hear how things are going! Love you lots! Donna
ReplyDeletewell it should be about 11 monday morn. for you guys. I keep wondering how it is all going. I am so very proud of the girls!! they are great kids. and aunt lisa loves them very much. and Todd and Laura very special to me. I cant wait to welcome drey into the family. I will kill me to be out of town when you get home!! But I know its for the best and it gives you all time of getting settled in! Love you lots and cant wait to get the word that he is in your arms!! this is a true blessing.(again)!!
